Superman & Lois: the face of the new Jonathan Kent revealed in the trailer for season 3

The CW has just unveiled the first images of season 3 of “Superman & Lois”, the opportunity to discover the face of the new interpreter of the character of Jonathan Kent.

The CW has just unveiled the first images of season 3 of Superman & Lois, giving fans their first glimpse of the new interpreter of the character of Jonathan Kent. Last August, Jordan Elsass, present in the series since its launch, had indeed announced his departure just a few weeks before the start of filming for this new burst of episodes.

The young actor discovered in Little Fires Everywhere had decided to take time to work on his mental health. A few weeks later, the CW revealed that it would be Australian actor Michael Bishop who would take over the role in the new series of episodes.

This first trailer for season 3 of Superman & Lois, which allows us to discover the young actor in the skin of Jonathan, also confirms that the Kent family will have to face important challenges, in particular the possibility of a new addition to the family, Lois announcing within seconds that she is pregnant.

According to the official synopsis, this new season of Superman & Lois, which premieres March 14 on The CW, will open just weeks after Superman’s crushing loss to Ally Allston. Clark and Lois now work together at the Smallville Gazette and enjoy the peaceful life that the small town of Smallville offers.

But the Kents’ happiness only highlights how isolated “the secret” is to them, as Chrissy struggles to balance a new lover and her friendship with Lois. Lois’ work-life balance is challenged, however, when an undercover mission reveals a deadly enemy who could change the Kent family forever. Superman is willing to leave no stone unturned for his family, but with a villain as ruthless as this, that might not be enough.

Meanwhile, Jordan discovers what it really means to be a superhero while Jonathan searches for a new purpose off the football pitch. In the midst of all this upheaval, John Henry is haunted by his doppelgänger’s past, which will have dangerous consequences for him and Natalie.

Having learned the hard way that no one but himself can work with Superman, General Samuel Lane gets his job back at the Department of Defense, but working with his grandson Jordan forces him to face his own contradictions.

On the casting side, this new burst of episodes will see the return of Tyler Hoechlin (Clark / Superman), Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois), Alex Garfin (Jordan), Erik Valdez (Kyle), Inde Navarrette (Sarah), Wolé Parks (John) , Dylan Walsh (Sam Lane), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Lana), Tayler Buck (Natalie) and Sofia Hasmik (Chrissy).

In France, the first two seasons of Superman & Lois are available in full on the Salto streaming platform.
