On the third day of the RTL jungle camp it was announced that Cora Schumacher had left the camp “at her own request”.

Jan Köppen (40) and Sonja Zietlow (55) welcomed the audience to a “jungle quickie” on Sunday evening (January 21st). Due to a subsequent NFL broadcast, the third day of the RTL jungle camp (also via RTL+) only from 8:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. At the end of the broadcast there was a surprising message about an excerpt.

What Zietlow already announced at the end of the program was broadcast by RTL on Instagram confirmed after the broadcast: “Shortly before the third live show, Cora Schuhmacher said the sentence ‘I’m a star – get me out of here’ and thus left the camp of her own volition. Everything else about the voluntary departure can be found in the next one Live show.” Cora Schumacher (47) is the first candidate to leave the jungle camp in 2024. The show didn’t discuss Schumacher or her move out; instead, it was mainly about the emotional outbursts of her fellow campers.

What else was going on in the camp?

The celebrities are opening up more and more to their fellow campers and revealing a wide variety of feelings. Anya Elsner (20) had a “sexual dream” and is attracted to David Odonkor (39). She finds herself constantly “fettered” by her gaze. “I just have a crush on him. I’m not trying to get close to him,” she explains to Kim Virginia (28) at the campfire. “What can I do about it if they send such a hot guy in here?” she explains about the taken Odonkor.

No Angel Lucy Diakovska (47) tears up when she tells Cora Schumacher (47) and Twenty4Tim (23) that she doesn’t have a permanent partner and has problems with the topic of love. “I’ve been in therapy for four months to clear up a lot of things in my life,” explains the singer. “Things that were missing from childhood, words like ‘I love you’.” Her mother, who has since died, was “often unbearable, evil and distant.” The mother quickly took her independence for granted. There are still “a lot of unanswered holes” and the feeling that her “mother wasn’t really interested in her.”

Aborted in the spa exam

There are also increasing tensions in the camp. Five stars earned, which the group earned, among other things, alpaca meat, became a problem when it came to eating. Leyla Lahouar (27) is not listened to by her colleagues and feels “ripped off” and not taken seriously. Meat and vegetables have to be cooked separately for them. Felix von Jascheroff (41) immediately makes it clear that “extra requests” will not be taken into account here. The side blows from Kim, who says she shouldn’t scream so much and that she wants to “belittle” her, also annoy Lahouar. The reality star has to endure further stress during the jungle test.

With Twenty4Tim she has to take the test “I’m at the spa – get me out of here!” compete. Already in tears, she accepts the challenge from Dr. Bob explained before the two examinees went into two ground-floor chambers. For Lahouar, even the first animal encounter in a small space is too much. She breaks the test with the famous sentence “I’m a star – get me out of here!” away. “I really panicked,” she explains through tears. The fellow campers actually believed in the 27-year-old. “It’s bittersweet to come back with zero stars,” Odonkor draws a sobering conclusion. “She doesn’t want to face the whole thing,” Kim Virginia says critically again.

Things get even worse for Lahouar. “They can’t be serious,” is her first reaction to the fact that she has to take the exam again. “After voluntarily dropping out of the last exam, Leyla was also chosen for the next one and has the chance to prove herself again,” it says in an Instagram post. The next episode of Jungle Camp will follow next Monday at 10:15 p.m. All information about Schumacher’s move out will follow there, as Zietlow promised at the end.
