CAIRO, June 16 (Reuters) – US-led coalition forces on Thursday arrested an Islamic State group leader during an operation in Syria on June 16, a coalition statement said.
The US-led coalition earlier in the morning carried out a helicopter landing operation in a part of northern Syria held by Turkish-backed rebels, a spokesman for the group told Reuters. said to be the first such raid in the region.
