According to a report from the Taiwanese Ministry of Defense, China is preparing for the lightning invasion of Taiwan by 2025. No wonder when we know the sights of China on Taiwan. But this probable takeover of the island is not viewed favorably by the United States, Japan and France.

It is a threat of invading war hanging over Taiwan. According to a report from the Taiwanese Defense Ministry, China, which claims the island, is preparing a surprise attack within the next four years. A real scenario of lightning war evoked by the Taiwanese soldiers with ballistic missile fire, bombardment and landing on the Taiwanese beaches of the soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army.

“A suicidal operation for Beijing”

The report presented to the Taiwanese deputies gives a deadline for this operation: 2025. By then, China could take advantage of one of its many military exercises in the Strait of Formosa to attack on several fronts, surprise the Taiwanese defenses. and prevent its allies from mobilizing, in particular the United States and Japan, which has already reacted to this report through the voice of its former prime minister, citing a suicidal operation for Beijing.

The United States, for its part, is also working on several war scenarios in the region. American officers believe they can achieve victory if at least 80% of their military forces are sent to the front. Washington, for example, would have to deploy six of its eleven aircraft carriers to hope for air superiority over the People’s Republic.

It is in this context that a delegation of six French deputies is in Taipei this week, for the second visit of French parliamentarians since the beginning of the year.
