We have already had several opportunities to play Tales of Symphonia : when the original was released, in 2003/2004 on GameCube (and on PS2 in Japan), on PS3 with Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles in 2014, and via a PC version based on the edition playstation in 2016. Tales of Symphonia Remastered will land on Nintendo Switch in early 2023, with refined graphics, a gameplay improved, and the ability to play up to 3 locally.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered brings this 20-year-old classic to life with HD visual enhancements, gameplay enhancements, and new features. The title is slated for release on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch™ and will be compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In the Tales of Symphonia Remastered video game, seasoned fans and franchise newcomers alike will follow the journey of Lloyd Irving and his friends as they attempt to save Sylvarant and Tethe’alla, two inextricably linked worlds, where rebirth of one means the decline of the other. Players will experience a touching story with endearing characters in a rich and vivid world, as well as beautiful animated scenes designed by renowned artist Kosuke Fujishima.
Players will be able to live or relive this story alone or in fours during fights, with a variety of strategies and combat systems such as combos that freely combine a variety of “Skills/Magic”, Mystical Artes with flashy effects, and Unison Attack, coordinated techniques that can unleash a powerful series of attacks.
Pre-orders are currently available at participating retailers. Players can pre-order the Chosen Edition which, in addition to the game, will contain a metal case, stickers, and artwork.
