target 6 million members in 2026

The mutual insurer Macif (Aéma group) wants to cross the threshold of 6 million members and reach 8 billion euros in turnover by the end of 2026, by focusing in particular on proximity and customer relations, he said on Tuesday.

The 2024-26 strategic plan aims to see the Niort-based insurer position itself sustainably as number 1 in customer relations, consolidating its leading position in all its markets, according to a press release.

The turnover must pass at the end of 2026 8 billion euros, compared to 6.65 billion in 2023 – a stable figure compared to 2022 – and 7 billion expected this year with the reintegration of the Apivia mutual since January 1.

Macif, which claims first place in France for auto insurance, also wants to cross the bar of 6 million members (compared to 5.8 million at the end of 2023) and surpass the milestone of 20 million contracts (compared to 19 million).

It intends to increase the social redistribution in major causes, particularly in favor of youth, vulnerable groups and the environment, and increase mutualist interactions for greater proximity with its members (prevention actions, training in life-saving actions, etc.).
