Tassimo Finesse: Bosch promises more intense coffees with a new compact coffee maker

Bosch is also launching a new pod coffee maker at the end of the year. To face Philips and its Senseo Maestro, Nespresso and its Vertuo Pop or even CoffeeB, a newcomer on the market with its Globe and its unwrapped coffee balls, the giant from across the Rhine draws the Tassimo Finesse. This new model relies, as its name suggests, on a relatively compact design with a width of only 157 mm, but not only. A new function is also appearing in the range.

The promise of more intense aromas with IntensityBoost

Called IntensityBoost, this function to be selected by pressing the main button for 3 seconds promises to deliver a more intense coffee. And its use would not be limited to coffee. The official page also mentions the possibility of using it to increase the power of the aromas of hot chocolate. On the other hand, its operation is not detailed there, but it very probably consists in prolonging the time of infusion.

In any case, nothing really seems to distinguish the Finesse from other Tassimo machines on a technical level. Like the Style, it is announced with a power of 1400 W and includes a water tank of 0.7 liters. It thus leaves the My Way 2 ahead on both of these criteria. The pressure is announced at 3.3 bars, as for all Tassimo machines, and of course we also find the usual barcode pod system and very practical, since it avoids having to touch to the settings despite the variety of drinks on offer; undeniably the strong point of Tassimo machines.

Available in several colors, as well as with a matte or shiny finish, the Tassimo Finesse is offered at the recommended retail price of €89.99 and we should not be long in being able to offer a complete test since it has already arrived at writing.
