This week at number one in the German charts

After her concert film, pop icon Taylor Swift is following up again with a new album that makes it straight to the top of the charts.
Mega star Taylor Swift (33) can not only be heard at the moment, but can also be seen on the big screen with her concert film “The Eras Tour”. The placement of her new album shows that fans in Germany can’t get enough of the pop sensation in the official German charts: Number one for her newly released record “1989 (Taylor’s Version) – how could it be otherwise? This is an expanded re-recording of the original album from 2014 with previously unreleased songs as an addition. Swift comes across this the Rolling Stones and their 24th studio album “Hackney Diamonds” from the top.
German rap, pop and rock in the album ranking
Three German artists take third to fifth place this week. Rapper Farid Bang (37) follows the Rolling Stones with “Asphalt Massaka 4” – his tour starts in 2024. Bosse’s (43) new album – “Übers Traumen” – makes it to fourth place and ends up in the top five Singer Doro (59) sings “Conqueress – Forever Strong And Proud.” All albums make it into the top five of the German charts immediately after release.
Both current single charts in Germany The Berlin rapper Ski Aggu (26) and the Austrian music producer RAF Camora (39) are ahead. In her new song “Liebe Grüße” Ski Aggu raps on techno beats. The Spanish singer Iñigo Quintero (21) and his song “Si No Estás” had to slip from number one. The single is already over a year old but went viral on TikTok in 2023 and is now back in the minds of music lovers.
The hit “Prada” by the British singer Raye (26) in collaboration with the DJ Cassö (21) and the trap duo D-Block Europe also went viral on TikTok. “Prada” fell from second place to third place this week. However, the song “Greedy” by Canadian singer Tate McRae (20) rose from fifth to fourth place and DJ Bennett’s (26) “Vois sur” rose from sixth to fifth place ton chemin” – a techno version of the well-known song from the French film “The Children of Monsieur Mathieu”.
