Nobody has done it before: Pop star Taylor Swift has won a Grammy for the third time for "Album of the Year".

Pop star Taylor Swift (31) was next to R&B singer Beyoncé (39) one of the big winners at the Grammy Awards 2021, which were awarded on the night from Sunday to Monday. The US singer was awarded for the third time in the main category "Album of the Year" for her album "Folklore". With that, the 31-year-old wrote music history, as Swift is the first female artist to achieve this feat.

Swift previously won the award for her albums "Fearless" (2008) and "1989" (2014). In her speech, the singer thanked not only her fans for their support, but also her boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn (30, "The Favorite – Intrigue and Insanity"). Swift had worked with him on the songs "Exile" and "Betty" on "Folklore": "Joe is the first person I play every single song I write. I had the best time with songs during the quarantine to write to you, "said Swift.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are said to have met at the Met Gala in May 2016, according to media reports. The first reports of an alleged relationship were in spring 2017.
