There are indications of a threatening situation at a school in Hamburg. The police arrive with a large contingent. Officers are searching the building and checking clues.

In Hamburg, the police responded to a school in the Blankenese district on Wednesday because of a possible threat. “Police forces are already on site and are taking initial measures,” officials said on X, the former Twitter. “There are currently indications of a threat situation at the Blankenese district school.”

Students would be escorted out of the building. At the same time, emergency services entered the school and checked the information about the possible threat, the police explained. The area will be cordoned off and a contact point for parents will be set up. All drivers are asked to avoid the area.

As the “Bild” newspaper and the “Hamburger Morgenpost” report, there are said to be two armed people in the building. The officers would be inside looking for the two suspected perpetrators, at least one of whom is said to be carrying a black pistol. According to “MoPo,” a teacher was threatened with a weapon.
