The internet for many Telekom customers is apparently down. People from various locations are currently reporting to us that they are having problems. We asked the provider for a statement.

On January 30, 2024, many readers reported to us in our Telekom fault report that they had internet problems, just like the evening before. These are mainly reports from metropolitan areas such as Frankfurt am Main, Berlin, Munich or Düsseldorf.
The reason for this is not known. The company has not yet commented on this on social networks such as X. We asked Telekom again today for a statement, but the company told us: “We are not aware of any restrictions.”
The number of fault reports from customers is similar to that on January 29th. Therefore, these could be local problems. Those affected may be able to find a solution thanks to our DSL checklist.
