Summer, sun, good food and cool drinks – they just belong together. In Neusiedl am See there are now two bars in the lido that live purely from the “terrace business”. In other words, there are no guest rooms, life really only takes place outside. And: This trend is well received.
While Hans Martin Naglreiter has been running his pop-up pizzeria for the second year, David Dinhof and his wife Lynda opened their “La Takeria” this week.
The two have already had “experience” for a few days. “The weather was hot and the guests hungry,” they smile. The Latin American cuisine is also well received by locals and visitors to Neusiedl.
But of course it only works when it’s not raining. Because their concept is designed for fair weather. If the weather stays as it has been up to now, nothing stands in the way of a great season.
The more exercise, the better
Hans Martin Naglreiter also sees the new restaurant positively. “The more animation there is, the better it is for everyone,” he says. Last year he himself opened his “Naglreiter Summer Edition” Pizza, Ice Cream & Spritzer, just to liven up the lake promenade.
His season last year was good. Also this year one continues to hope for many locals and guests who visit the “outdoor bars”. But there is confidence on all sides. Because in summer you just like to be outside. And what could be nicer than enjoying the evening at the lake with a good meal and a nice drink?
