After Temporis Retro 2, it’s the turn of Dofus, in classic edition, to be entitled to its temporary servers. And it will be earlier than the original release date.
The release date of Temporis 8 is no longer at the end of 2023
During Krosmonote 2022, Ankama detailed its plans for the year 2023. In addition to less present content to prepare for the arrival of Dofus 2 Unity, Logan then announced the traditional edition of Temporis. Osatopia and Osamodas remained behind us, with an eighth edition on the horizon in a niche never explored before: the very end of the year.
Indeed, December 2023 was originally the release date for Temporis 8, leaving some time after the Retro servers. However, the plans have obviously evolved. In a final memo taking stock of the year’s mid-term, Ankama reviews these statements.
At the same time, we are already preparing Temporis 8 and the sequel, and yes in this order: Temporis will arrive sooner than expected, but we will have the opportunity to talk to you about it in the coming weeks!
DOFUS – Ankama
Looking at the update schedule, only one choice appears possible; the end of summer update. Dofus now no longer offers a minor patch in October and the temporary servers aligning this agenda, the jump would be from December to September. All this is obviously not confirmed. The Ankama team can leave some leeway by postponing the update if necessary. As a reminder, new content is not on the agenda to promote porting. In any case, more details about this new release window, and especially the theme of the next edition, should appear in the “coming weeks”.
A jump planned by Japan Expo 2023
By following this information, we can only turn to the next event on the calendar: Ankama’s appearance at Japan Expo. As in 2022 and 2019, the company is planning a large stand bringing together its games and editions. The transmedia theme this time would be Goultard, with special convention fights for Dofus and Dofus Retro in particular. Various Ankama Live events will also be held there. One in particular will be dedicated to Dofus 2 Unity, the Saturday July 15 in the afternoon. For Temporis, expect at least a mention and if not new information via teasers.
