Much loved but often decried by the scientific community, Igor and Grichka have long been media men. And their first real show, the one that in any case made them known to the general public, was called Time X and was broadcast on TF1 between April 6, 1979 and June 27, 1987.
Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff are French twins born on August 29, 1949 in the department of Gers. Also television hosts and producers, the two brothers began their television careers in the Antenne 2 program. One out of five, moderated by Patrice Laffont. They held a science fiction column there before being propelled to the front of the stage on TF1, therefore, thanks to the show Time X. This program, which mixed science, science fiction and popular culture, is become cult over the years. The Bogdanoff brothers were staged there with futuristic costumes in a setting reminiscent of a spaceship.
Temps X, a mix of science-fiction series and sensational subjects
This magazine, which broadcast some fantastic series like The fourth dimension, The prisoner Where Star trek, also featured clips from cult sci-fi movies like Fly. Time X also brought in several personalities to discuss science of all kinds via serious or more sensational concepts such as extraterrestrial life or UFOs.
