According to the police, the 77-year-old driver may have overlooked a car driving on the priority road when turning. In addition to the pregnant woman, the 23-year-old driver and his passenger (20) as well as a 25-year-old (all from the Rohrbach district) were sitting in his car ). These three other occupants were also injured and the rescue team took them to the hospital in Rohrbach. “We were able to get out independently.” “We immediately rescued one person from the vehicle using rescue equipment,” reported the Altenfelden volunteer fire department after the operation. And further: “The occupants of the second car were able to get out independently and were looked after by the Red Cross.” Traffic had to be rerouted for the duration of the clean-up work.
