(CercleFinance.com) – Tesla stock on Monday suffered one of the biggest drops in the S&P 500 index following the announcement of the departure of the electric vehicle manufacturer’s chief financial officer.
The Californian group announced this morning in a financial notice sent to the SEC that its chief financial officer and “bitcoin master” Zachary Kirkhorn had decided to leave the company by the end of the year.
During his tenure, which lasted 13 years, Tesla experienced “a phase of considerable expansion and growth”, recalls the company.
Around 4:00 p.m., the action fell by 2.5%, against the current of the rebound made today by the American stock markets.
Tesla has chosen to replace him with immediate effect its current accounting director, Vaibhav Taneja, a 45-year-old former PricewaterhouseCoopers consultant who joined the company in 2017.
