(CercleFinance.com) – Thales says it has been selected by Airbus to equip its civil aircraft with its new flight management system which “opens up the field of possibilities for airlines with secure access to open world data”.
Thanks to the processing and sharing of considerable volumes of data, this new system will enable optimized operations, easier interoperability and reduced environmental impact, according to the electronics group.
The new flight management system derived from the PureFlyt product and adapted to the specificities of Airbus, will be developed for its civil aircraft, more particularly the A320, A330 and A350 families, for entry into service planned for the end of 2026.
