(CercleFinance.com) – Thales and Hitachi announce that they have made significant progress in finalizing the sale of Thales’ Ground Transportation Systems (GTS) business.
The two groups have obtained most of the regulatory authorizations necessary to complete the transaction.
‘Over the past few months, the parties have had constructive discussions with the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission regarding this transaction. At the end of these discussions, Hitachi Rail once again submitted its notification proposal to the European Commission, indicates the group.
The two Groups are continuing their discussions with the authorities concerned in order to finalize this transaction during the first half of 2024.
