The Magnificent Society
From June 23 to 25, in Reims (Marne)
After having long celebrated the start of summer to the sound of electro with the Elektricity festival, Reims has broadened its musical palette by replacing it with La Magnifique Society, in the bucolic setting of the Parc de Champagne. Local icon of beats, Yuksek will be there again on June 23, surrounded by Aya Nakamura, Phoenix, Meryl, Moodoïd or Japanese Breakfast (whose pop, as bouncy as it is moving, will not be heard elsewhere in France this summer ). Before the concerts of Angèle, Kekra, Earthgang, Agar Agar, Rema or Yendry, on the 24th, then those of Louise Attaque, Sofiane Pamart, Bertrand Belin, Zaho de Sagazan or Jehnny Beth, on the 25th.

From June 28 to 30, in Paris
At the beginning of the summer, Parisians got into the habit of gathering on the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville to enjoy a high-level poster free of charge. For this 12e edition, the big stage will welcome a majority of French-speaking artists, whether it’s song (Benjamin Biolay, Adé, Hervé), rap (Lujipeka, Disiz), electro (Etienne de Crécy, Polo & Pan, Ofenbach) or mutant pop (Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Aime Simone), but also some international figures (Franz Ferdinand, Selah Sue, Hot Chip). Several nuggets to discover on an “attention talents” stage, Nuit Incolore (H JeuneCrack, Eesah Yasuke…). And always more intimate concerts in the setting at the end of the 19th centurye the halls of the Town Hall (Gabi Hartmann, Zaho de Sagazan, Warhaus and, nicely, the American Beck, solo with his acoustic guitar), whose seats (also free) will be available at the end of June at the ticket offices Fnac Paris and Île-de-France.
The Eurockeans
From June 29 to July 2, in Belfort (Territoire de Belfort)
After a 2022 edition crippled by the deluge, the Eurockéennes rescheduled this year some artists (Wet Leg, Foals) who had to give up in the face of the storm, while moving forward. The day of July 2, devoted to Indochine (but also to Chef & The Gang, the group of top chef Philippe Etchebest), is complete, but there are still many reasons to join the festival. Whether it’s the beauty of its site – a verdant peninsula backed by the foothills of the Vosges –, the quality of the welcome or the four stages which, apart from the summer heavyweights (Skrillex, Shaka Ponk, Orelsan, Lomepal, Phoenix, Pomme, Dinos, Adé, Niska…) offer a number of nostalgic nuggets (the new wave icon Siouxsie, the dreamlike Icelanders of Sigur Ros, the Jamaican Horace Andy…) and contemporary (Yard Act , Baby Volcano, The Haunted Youth, Kids Return…).
