One of the most important questions of the new episode: How long can the friends Stephie and Mimi treat each other with the Bachelor?
The sixth episode of "The Bachelor" (February 24th, 8:15 pm, RTL and TVNow) starts again with a group date. "This is slowly becoming a running gag", so the not at all amused Linda (25), who Niko Griesert (30) wants to have to herself sometimes. But first she has to explore a salt mine together with Mimi (26), Jaqueline S. (23) and Stephie (25) at the side of Niko. After all, it is she who is allowed to take a seat at the back next to Niko during the romantic boat trip through the grotto, while the others try hard not to turn around. Again only one woman is allowed to stay longer in the end – again it's not Linda. Griesert doesn't see the problem: "I think Linda also had fun on the date …" Cut to Linda: "I freaked out!"
No, it's Stephie who is allowed to get closer to the Bachelor underground. She also tells him that it's not that easy to compete with her now good friend Mimi. "So far I've come closest to both of them and they both get along well. The constellation is not that simple …", Niko recognizes the problems on the still unclouded horizon. Stephie also fears that: "It's good to have people like Mimi here, whom you can rely on one hundred percent. On the other hand, you know how it can end at some point – that you either hurt the person or get hurt yourself."
But first of all it is injured. Means: kissed, several times. Stephie lets the other girls under the table when she arrives back at the chalet: "That's a thing between him and me." In a one-on-one conversation, she has to give her friend the romantic facts. And slowly it becomes clear: "The more serious it gets, I think it could be difficult." Heavy? Just ask Linda! The next door is still upset: "How can he invite me to these victim dates?"
The next "victim" or group date takes place on the lonely Zugspitze. Mulled wine, tobogganing, snowball fights and sunbathing in the snow. Jaqueline B. (32) can solve a misunderstanding, then Michéle (27) tries to approach Niko for a change. Which means for her: She takes all her courage to look at him. But that is no longer enough for the Bachelor: "The time is over when I should always approach you."
Hannah and Niko: Just pretty best friends?
The next day there is another single date. First things first: Linda doesn't get it again. Hannah (28) now comes to the train. For the others, however, she's more like the bachelor's best friend, which is why everyone is relatively relaxed about it. The Bachelor sees it differently: "If you feel comfortable with a person, then you immediately feel drawn to them."
And whether you can drink champagne with your buddies during a carriage ride under a cuddly blanket, then have a makeover and then eat together in a castle in full costumes as king and queen? Hardly likely. Nevertheless, this date between the two is remarkably relaxed again. And that, although they sit three meters apart while eating and have to shout their questions over the board. After that, they get closer to each other while dancing and finally on a fairly small couch. He gives her a rose, she gives him the compliment: "marriage material".
The night of roses becomes a speed date
The night of the roses, but this time with a rather tense atmosphere. Finally, Niko suggests: "We can also have one-on-one discussions …" That's how it should be. The night of roses turns into a speed date: Linda is happy because Niko finally noticed her different hairstyles and she can touch his hands. Niko is happy when Michéle jumps over her shadow and approaches him. And Mimi is unhappy and does exactly what the Bachelor no longer wanted to hear: Communicate your insecurity about the date with Hannah. His answer: "Oh Mimi, let's go inside …"
If you don't get a rose when you make the decision, it's no surprise: Esther (22), Jaqueline B. and Jaqueline S. have to leave and submit to their fates without much objection. There are still friends Mimi and Stephie, the demanding Linda, Karina, who has not been involved so far, and "Not quite so" friend zone Hannah. And a bachelor's degree that is already overwhelmed: "I would not have expected that you could feel attracted to different women at the same time …" No, really nobody could count on that!
