There is said to have been a positive corona case on "The Batman" set. Does this mean another forced break from filming?
The shooting of Robert Pattinson's (34, "Twilight") new film, "The Batman", does not seem to be under a lucky star. As the British "Daily Mail" claims to have found out from an insider who was not named, work on the set was again at a standstill. The reason: A crew member allegedly tested positive for the corona virus.
"We were all told that we should stay away from work until further notice," the insider is quoted as saying. He reckons that filming in the Warner Bros. studio in Hertfordshire near London will resume "in two weeks at the earliest". The so far not officially confirmed compulsory break "brought chaos into the schedule".
Set return of short duration
Particularly annoying: Work on "The Batman" set was only continued at the beginning of this week after it had been on pause since March due to the corona pandemic. It is not yet known whether the film with Pattinson in the lead role of Bruce Wayne alias Batman will premiere as planned in autumn 2021.
