The Jedi and his former Padawan find themselves in the World Between Worlds, a place which lies between time and space and which connects all moments together. The one who affectionately calls “Chipie” (as in the Star Wars: Clone Wars series) must, according to him, “finish her training”.

If Ahsoka finds herself in this high place, it is because she is in a state close to death, after her lost fight against Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and Anakin challenges her to find her way back to life. light and come back to life.

The return of Anakin Skywalker celebrated by Star Wars fans

Together, they fight with their lightsabers and at the same time cross shared memories. We find them years before – where Ahsoka is played in her young version by a Marvel star and Barbie – on the battlefield of the Clone Wars, which is the major event covered in the animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars.

They also find themselves in the middle of battle during the Siege of Mandalore, a clash of the Mandalorian Civil War in which Clone Commander Rex and former Padawan Ahsoka Tano took part. For his part, Anakin Skywalker was busy with Obi-Wan Kenobi in a battle on Coruscant.

These “flashback” scenes were praised by Star Wars fans who loved these moments shared between Skywalker and Ahsoka. Fans were also blown away by the performance of Hayden Christensen, who can be found in a younger version thanks to the de-aging technique (digital technology which makes it possible to rejuvenate or age an actor, editor’s note).

The actor once again embodies his most striking role, that of Anakin Skywalker but also Darth Vader since the character’s inner conflict is very present in this episode with the Sith Lord’s musical theme and striking transitions.

This attitude allows her to come back to life and make peace with her old demons in order to be ready for the mission that awaits her.
