Test winner Philips: Noble iron beats competition
Our partner AllesBeste has subjected the iron to a detailed practical test – the manufacturer’s promises are also put to the test. This was mainly presented in the test Philips Azur Elite GC5037 / 80 at its best and was crowned test winner by AllesBeste. With its futuristic design, the premium model is not only something to look at, it can also boast high steam output and an excellently gliding soleplate. On top of that, the 3,000-watt model is already heated up in about a minute. Another strength of the Edel device: It does not have a temperature controller, as it automatically adapts to the type of fabric. However, the top model also has its price: You have to put around 140 euros on the table for the device.
Manufacturer Philips but also has a good alternative to offer for the smaller budget: The EasySpeed Advanced GC 2675/85 for just about 40 euros was also able to convince in the test. It impresses with good steam output and a decent ceramic soleplate that does not slide over the laundry as easily as the test winner. These are other recommended test models Braun Texstyle 9 SI 9188 and Sensixx’x DA30 TDA302401W from manufacturer Bosch.
