The best pastry chef: who left the adventure this Thursday, December 23?

Thursday, December 23, 2021, M6 broadcast a new episode of the program Le Meilleur pâtissier on M6. With only four candidates remaining in the competition, who was eliminated at the gates of the final?

The final of the Best pastry chef is just around the corner … One week after the elimination of Jerome, it is Mohamed, Aya, Maud and Alexandre who wanted to go to the semi-finals. In the last episode of the show, the candidates still in the running had to create a royal crown in the form of a cake, Cinderella’s tsunami cake and finally, a cake in the form of a shoe. Against all expectations, it was finally Mohamed who was eliminated after twelve weeks of competition! With emotion, Mercotte told the candidate: “In any case, well done for your career really, because you impressed us every week! So of course there were ups and downs, but overall: great risk-taking and lots of treats!

For his part, Cyril Lignac told him: “For someone who started baking not long ago, to get there is still exceptional. I saw you open up, I could say like a flower because as you went along, you gained confidence in yourself and technically, you are my champion because you beat me! And for all your friends who didn’t know you could bake, you’re going to teach them a lesson! It’s a very beautiful course, well done!“In front of the camera, it is a smile on the lips that Mohamed said:”What a journey anyway! I have nothing to regret, I really had an exceptional adventure! It was truly a privilege for me to be there. I never thought I would participate in this competition, to have made it this far, the last four, frankly for me, it’s a great victory!“Finally, he added:”I was asking myself questions: ‘Am I embarking on a career in pastry or not?’ Now, I am convinced that this will be my branch and we will see what the future holds for me!

Mohamed: “The show allowed me to progress professionally”

Eliminated at the gates of the final, Mohamed agreed to return to his career in the columns of TV-Leisure. He thus assured: “The show allowed me to gain a little more self-confidence, to express myself. It’s an exercise, television! Little by little, I got a taste for it.“Happy, he added:”It has always been my dream for Cyril Lignac and Mercotte to taste my cakes. It reassured and comforted me: I bake good cakes. The show allowed me to advance professionally in this field. There, I am in the process of realizing a project which has already made good progress … but I cannot tell you more about it yet.
