Wishing to surf on the juicy seam of this collection, Coinbase will produce a trilogy of short films around the monkeys of Bored Ape Yacht Club, called “ The Degen Trilogy “. The first film will be screened at the NFT.NYC event which will be held from June 20 to 23. The studio, writers and directors behind this project are currently being kept under wraps, but the famous cryptocurrency platform claims that “ you’ve seen what they’ve done before “.
All NFT owners in the collection are invited to submit their character to the cast of the trilogy with a short description of their virtual monkey and a fictional biography. The most interesting profiles will then be selected by a casting director and will be included in the trilogy. The owners of the lucky winners will be rewarded with $10,000 in Bitcoin or ApeCoin, the cryptocurrency linked to the collection, in exchange for their character’s intellectual property.
