The Carpendales want to put their fans in the Christmas spirit and have made a fun family video.
The Carpendale family gets their fans in the Christmas mood: The Carpendales shared a funny video on Instagram in which Annemarie (44), husband Wayne (44), son Mads (3) and father-in-law Howard (75) can be seen. In the first shot, Wayne is standing in his kitchen and talking to Papa Howard on the phone. “Stress as always. I’m not in the Christmas spirit yet,” he says in the conversation. Shortly afterwards he only hears a toot on the other end of the line – Howard has apparently hung up.
But then the doorbell rings. The pop singer stands in front of his car and waves his son over. The 44-year-old sits in astonishment on the passenger seat. “Dad, what are you doing here?” He asks. Howard Carpendale doesn’t answer, but starts to trill his song “Christmas Time”. Meanwhile, Wayne just looks around confused and then says to his wife Annemarie: “Bit strange, my father.”
She too can enjoy a serenade – Howard Carpendale sings the song “I’m waiting for the first snow” for Annemarie. “You Carpendale men all have a bit of a shot,” she commented to Wayne. “I’m out of there! My name is just that.” Finally, his son Mads can enjoy it – Howard performs “Rockin ‘Around The Christmas Tree” for him. His grandpa is “so cool,” he says to Wayne afterwards. “Now I’m in the Christmas mood,” he says.
Wayne Carpendale was responsible for the idea, direction and editing
“What a family”, is Howard Carpendale’s comment on the video. Accordingly, his son Wayne had the idea for the clip, and he was also responsible for directing and editing. “And Anne and Mads have fully participated. I can not explain what that means to me,” writes the 75-year-old. Wayne Carpendale wishes his followers “Happy Christmas from the slightly crazy C’s”. In the comments below the video, numerous enthusiastic and amused comments gathered among all three posts by the Carpendales.
“Can your father come over to us too ?! I can sing along to all the songs,” asks moderator Thore Schölermann (37). “Absolutely awesome the video” and “Mega!” Praised pop star Ramon Roselly (28) and The BossHoss singer Alec Völkel (49). Yvonne Catterfeld (42) comments: “Oh my god, that’s funny. Very cute!”
