The supervisory board of La Banque Postale announced on Thursday that it had renewed the four members of the management board for five years, including the president Philippe Heim who arrived from Société Générale in September 2020, and appointed a fifth member.
Meeting yesterday under the chairmanship of Philippe Wahl, the supervisory board of La Banque Postale, on the proposal of the bank’s appointments and governance committee, appointed Philippe Heim as Chairman of the management board, indicated the public banking and financial group. insurance in a press release.
This renewal will make it possible to pursue the development of a new citizen bancassurance model, declared Philippe Wahl, CEO of the La Poste group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of La Banque Postale.
Mr. Heim had resumed his arrival on the current mandate of Rémy Weber, who left following a difference of opinion on the governance of CNP Assurances, then specified the Postal Bank.
In addition to the chairman, the three other members of the management board have been reappointed: the general manager of retail banking Marion Rouso, the general manager of corporate and investment banking Bertrand Cousin and the general manager of CNP Assurances Stphane Dedeyan.
The supervisory board has also appointed a fifth member of the management board: Perrine Kaltwasser, director general of risks, compliance and the general secretariat of the financial conglomerate.
The Executive Board’s mission is to define La Banque Postale’s strategy and operational guidelines, the company explains on its website, which is 100% owned by La Poste.
A graduate of ESCP, Sciences Po and ENA, Philippe Heim began his career in 1997 at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, where he held various positions.
From 2004, this jazz lover notably advised Nicolas Sarkozy, then Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industry, before becoming in 2006 Jean-Franois Cop’s cabinet director, Minister for the Budget and – speech of the government.
In 2007, he joined Socit Generale’s corporate and investment bank, then at the forefront in Europe. He will rise through the ranks to the position of right-hand man to Managing Director Frdric Ouda in charge of international retail activities, financial services and insurance.
