Interviewed by Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine, Jean-Paul Rouve tells how he discovered this original first name. “I was in a bookstore in Dunkirk. There was a children’s section and I remember the first book my godmother gave me“, says the actor. Before being interrupted by Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine who tells him: “And you named your son Clotaire!” “Clotaire because of the dunce?”, continues the presenter was referring to the character in the comic strip The little Nicolas, by René Goscinny.
Jean-Paul Rouve did not expect this remark but still agreed to provide more details on this anecdote. “It is true that it’s part of my unconscious, my universe, Goscinny. Enormously.
