In a Facebook self-help group, a user shared a report that would indicate the presence of the couple, not found since November 2022, in a supermarket in northern Portugal.
Since the night of November 25 to 26, 2022, Kévin Trompat (21 years old) and Leslie Hoorelbeke (22 years old) have not given any sign of life. Their relatives are increasing the search, with two hunts organized this month. But also on social networks, where volunteers attempt to help find the suddenly missing couple. The magazine Gala spotted a publication on the public group “Entraide au Portugal”, where a user shared a report about the missing from Deux-Sèvres and their dog Onyx.
Leslie and Kevin would have been seen in a supermarket in Vila Real, northern Portugal. “Hello, if my publication bothers, I withdraw it. This couple has been missing from Deux-Sèvres since December and was seen on Vila Real at Continent supermarket (Portugal) with a cart with French registration”describes the Internet user on the group, accompanying his text with photos of the couple regularly shared in the media – and not taken at the time in the supermarket in question. It is therefore not yet possible to know if the track is concrete.

If the user’s statements are verified, this would mean that the couple went even further than expected. According to the testimony of several relatives at Liberation, Leslie and Kévin intended to go to Bordeaux. The young man’s mother-in-law, Karine Prat, the last to have seen him before he disappeared with his companion, revealed to have seen him in possession of 10,000 euros in banknotes. Kévin, who would have earned this money by being paid under the table on markets and construction sites, intended it for the purchase of a vehicle. According to his father, Guy Trompat, he reportedly bragged on social media by showing up with the tickets, which would have fueled jealousy. The last conversation he would have had with his son, the evening of his disappearance, is also disturbing: a “white car” occupied by “five killer heads” would have slowed down in front of him. “Dad I was scared, I don’t know what these guys are”Kevin would have explained to his father.
