The Dark Pictures: 5 new titles and logos registered, Season 2 all mapped out?

With Man of Medan, Little Hope and House of Ashes, the anthology The Dark Pictures explored different horizons inspired by cult horror films. It will continue with The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me, which will make us follow a film crew trapped by a psychopath in the appalling Murder Castle and will be above all the last part of the Season 1.

But if Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco Games already specify it, it is necessarily that they have a Season 2 on your mind. And it may well be that, once again, filings of names and logos with theEUIPO spill the beans on plans for the future. Supermassive Games has indeed deposited by less than 5 titles and associated illustrations this week:

  • The Dark Pictures: Directive 8020, which could have a connection with a mission on or to the Moon;
  • The Dark Pictures: The Craven Man, associated with a logo representing a strange humanoid entity;
  • The Dark Pictures: Intercession, a possible adventure against a background of religion;
  • The Dark Pictures: Winterfold, whom we see well following in the footsteps of The Thing ;
  • The Dark Pictures: O Death (even if 0 death would make more sense), linked to an image where we see The conservative, common thread character of the franchise: a possible conclusion in sight?

Are these the 5 episodes that will form the Season 2 ? Simple ideas that will not necessarily all be kept? Or in a way to cover the tracks after having leaked the previous parts by registering intellectual properties? Only the future will tell us. Until then, The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes is available from €29.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
