The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is not out until the next game is already revealed!

A leak from Supermassive Games’ horror game The Devil in Me, which will be released tomorrow, November 18, on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, has revealed Dark Pictures’ next game, as well as the anthology’s next season.
As with previous games in the series, The Devil in Me ends with a trailer for the next title. While the game does not come out until tomorrow, the trailer in question has already been put online.
Directive 8020
As you can see in the trailer at the top of the page, Directive 8020 will therefore be the first sci-fi horror game from The Dark Pictures Anthology. As the site noted DestructoidDirective 8020 is an actual instruction used by NASA for “Biological contamination control of incoming and outgoing planetary spacecraft”.
Which means that we can probably expect to enter extraterrestrial territory with this opus, which could potentially be a closed session in a ship à la Alien Isolation.
Directive 8020 will therefore be the first game of what Supermassive Games calls the Season 2 from The Dark Pictures Anthology.
The first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology will therefore have offered, in chronological order: Man of Medanwhich takes place in a mysterious haunted boat in the open sea, Little Hopewhich takes you to a small American town with its share of nightmares, House of Ashes, which takes place in Iraq on the trail of a military unit in search of a chemical weapon. Finally, The Devil in Me comes to close Season 1 of The Dark Pictures on November 18th.
The Dark Pictures Season 2
These leaks confirm the titles and visuals of the five new titles that the developers of Supermassive Games had filed with the EUIPO (Europan Union Intellectual Property Office) last February.
With Directive 8020, “The Craven Man”, “O Death”, “Intercession” and “Winterfold” will land one after the other just like the games of the first season. As a reminder, the developers of Supermassive had filed another title, that The Dark Pictures Switchback, with a carnival-like logo to go with it. Switchback has also recently paid for a trailer. It will be available on PS VR2.
Supermassive Games has previously referred to The Dark Pictures as being a series of 8 games, and these 5 new titles bring the total to 10 games. It is therefore quite possible that Season 2 of The Dark Pictures complete the anthology.
