A unbeaten fighting dog has on one Playground in Bielefeld a ten-year-old girl attacked and seriously injured. The dog bit the child standing on a jungle gym twice in the leg last night, the police said. The shocked mother was therefore unable to prevent the bite attack.
The injured girl was taken to the hospital. After the incident, the alleged dog owner managed to get the animal under control and leashed with the help of a rushing man. Both then left the scene without caring about the injured girl. According to witnesses, it was said to be a Staffordshire Terrier, as a police spokesman said. The police are now looking for other witnesses who can provide information about the animal and the dog owners.
