The Nothing Phone (2a) is no longer much of a mystery. Its detailed design has on the one hand been revealed by leakers, while Nothing has published the performance of this mid-range.

The next Mobile World Congress (MWC), which will be held between February 26 and 29, will be an opportunity to discover many phones. And just after, it will be the mid-range phone Nothing Phone (2a) which will be presented to the public on March 5. A presentation which would be almost superfluous, given all the information given to us today.

A design as unique as ever

The face of the Nothing Phone (2a) is now clearly known to us, thanks to renders leaked by leaker Onleaks, in partnership with MySmartPrice. And if we find the flat edges of the Nothing Phone (2), we can observe the change on the back of this device.

The photo module thus still includes two sensors, but this time aligned horizontally. The famous Glyph, the signature of the smartphone, is only found in the upper half of the back of the phone, around the camera. As a reminder, these are lights that turn on when a person receives a call or a notification on their device.

Nothing Phone (2a) performance tested

The phone was also officially tested by Nothing, who posted a nine-minute video to show the results. The opportunity also to formalize the chip which will take place in the heart of the Nothing Phone (2a): the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC. A processor that was developed in collaboration by Nothing and MediaTek.

Finally, note, according to information made public in recent weeks, that the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected with the following characteristics:

  • 6.7-inch FHD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate;
  • MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chip;
  • 5000 mAh battery, 45W fast charging;
