The cult film series "Das Traumschiff" has to pause its shooting due to the current Corona crisis.
The dream ship has been sailing around the world since 1981 and shows individual fates in a dreamlike setting every time. Currently the course under TV captain Florian Silbereisen (38, "The big festival of the best") has stalled. Due to the corona crisis, the production company decided to temporarily stop filming. A ZDF press release speaks of a low risk of infection on board. Nevertheless, it was decided to change the shooting schedule.
The film "The Dream Ship: Cape Town" is not affected by this shift in schedule, it is already in the box. However, the episode around the Seychelles must be continued at a later date. The team is still on board the "MS Amadea" and is currently on the way back to Bremerhaven.
