The Elder Scrolls Online: The Legacy of the Bretons saga, the High Isle expansion and the Ascending Tide DLC presented

It is as expected this Thursday evening that Bethesda and ZeniMax Online Studios presented what awaits the players of The Elder Scrolls Online in 2022. The teasing led us to think that the action would take place in the abecean seaand to be more precise, we will go to the archipelago of Systems composed of 4 islands during this saga named The Legacy of the Bretonswhich will not have conflicts as a backdrop daedric, but a more political plot. And among these new, entirely new territories never trodden in previous games, the Chapter coming out next June will take us on High Islandfrom where the name of this extension which is in English High Isle. In order not to change, a cutscene CGI laid the foundations and atmosphere of this annual story.

This time, we are treated to the return of the trio of classic player characters, namely the NordicL’Elf and obviously the Bretonwho work together and come face to face with the main antagonist of this saga: the Ascending Lordwho is the head of a secret society called theAscending Order. Few details were given during the presentation, except that the events of the War of the Three Banners favor court shenanigans between the elites. Medieval and feudal inspiration is strong after all. In addition to High Islandwe will also visit the island ofAmenosan open-air prison. High Isle will be released on June 6, 2022 on PC, Mac and Stadia, while owners of PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One will have to wait until June 21. A free prologue quest will go live before that to give a taster.

But before that, the Ascending Tide DLC will feature two new dungeons starting March 14 on desktop and Stadia, and March 29 on consoles. Two other contents will follow by the end of the year, as usual. And not to change, it was recalled that it is possible to play it directly without having to catch up on previous stories.

On the novelty side, two new companion NPCs have been introduced, the witch Khajiit Ember and the Breton signet ring Isobelas well as’a collectible card game in-game ! Tales of Tributesuch is its name, will offer both duels against game characters and real players in pvpwith 4 decks starting point and a strategy-oriented operation rather than pure combat, where everyone will have their chances regardless of their collection of cards. Various rewards such as cosmetic items or materials can be obtained through this, adding yet another dimension to TESO.
