The essentials of VR news (Week from February 20 to February 26, 2023): Games, News and Good Deals

You have surely received your dose of PSVR 2 this week! And for good reason, in addition to existing games, many other titles have been announced this week, the time of the 30 titles planned in the launch window is now over. That said, it is also moving on the standalone and PCVR side.

A really great game to start with because we start with Another Fisherman’s Tale, the sequel to the first A Fisherman’s Tale which totally won us over at the time of its output:

This is what the game studio, InnerSpace VRsays about the game:

Another Fisherman’s Tale continues the story of Bob the Fisherman, crafting a magical and moving tale of the meaning we give to life as we build and rebuild our authentic selves. Developed from the ground up to maximize the capabilities of modern VR technology, Another Fisherman’s Tale introduces an entirely new set of core mechanics: this time the player’s body is the main puzzle to solve, creating unconventional gameplay based on the dismantling and rebuilding its form in the game.

Another Fisherman’s Tale is expected to launch this year on PSVR 2, Meta Quest 2, and PCVR platforms.

The studio Fast Travel Games announce the release date of his next game Guardians Frontline (formerly Guardians VR), either March 9 on Meta Quest and PCVR :

For those who didn’t follow the title, Guardians Frontline is a mix between Halo and StarCraft. If your strategy will be decisive on the course of the game, your skills in FPS can still change the game and lead you to victory. Here is a summary of the game:

As a dangerous alien assault looms, players must take control of the battlefield to protect the federation as they work to extract a mysterious energy source. Strategically place buildings for cover, call in starships for air support, or face the enemy head-on with powerful heavy weapons.

Every encounter in Guardians Frontline is unpredictable. The strategy that worked for your first game is not guaranteed for the second, third or even fourth game. Think outside the box, be creative and try all the mechanics to find the best combination to succeed.

  • Moss, Gadgeteer, Eternal Starlight (Pic 4)

The Quill mouse is backand not only on PSVR 2, since a port has just been released on the Pico Store for €19.99, if you had the reflex to take the coupons mentioned during the last recap, it’s a gift. Note that the Meta Quest version test is present on our site.

By staying at pico, we also have the Gadgeteer game which, for €14.99, will delight fans of chain reactions. We end with Eternal Starlight (€19.99), a RTS spatialenjoy it only if you are interested in the genre because it is clearly not a panacea in virtual reality.
