The essentials of VR news (Week of April 10 to 16, 2023)

This week, we offer you an agenda of multiplatform releases, mods and DLCs. We also analyze the top PSVR 2 downloads. Good reading !

If the Crysis series has always been synonymous with flashy graphics, but optimization to be reviewed, this VR mod will probably not be the exception to the rule as you will need a powerful PC to hope to run it in good conditions. . • Green Hell VR: Multiplayer cooperation is coming, but not only…

Survival will soon be done with friends on the excellent Green Hell VR (already tested by us). Up to 4 players can join the main adventureand soon on a brand new one since the studio announced a new DLCs baptized Spirits of Amazonia which will be divided into 3 parts:

We are happy to announce that we are working on setting up a multiplayer mode for Green Hell VR! We understand that many of our players are eagerly awaiting the addition of a co-op mode. We want to assure you that we are committed to providing you with an immersive multiplayer experience that lives up to your expectations.

We know it takes a long time, but we want to make sure we take the time to thoroughly develop and test the multiplayer mode to provide the best possible experience for our players. Oh, and guess what? The multiplayer mode will allow you to explore the jungle as a team (up to 4 players).

In addition to the multiplayer mode, we are also working on the Spirits of Amazonia DLCs, which will be split into three parts. These DLCs will deliver a new story, new gameplay mechanics, and immersive content that we’re sure will excite our community.

• Pavlov in the top PSVR 2 downloads

The Pavlov game tops the chart for the month of March. It’s understandable, as the game, in writing, pleasantly surprised us (read test). Apart from this title, across the Atlantic and in second position, The Dark Pictures: Switchback is displayed, the spiritual sequel to Rush of Blood, one of the best games PSVR first of the name. In third position appears Kayak VR, which stands out as the video game showcase of PSVR 2while being an easily shareable experience.

In Europe it is somewhat different and surprising, if the position of the securities is globally similar, it is the absence of Switchback VR that calls out, to believe that we are more sensitive to the quality of the graphics than our neighbors across the Atlantic.

It is also amusing to note that it is not necessarily the flagship titles that find themselves at the top of the charts as Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge or The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution, yet excellent in their respective categories. As with our previous article, games like Gran Turimo 7 Or Resident Evil 8 are not there, because the investigation cannot know if the game was downloaded to play it in flat or in VR.

• Walkabout Mini Golf: PSVR 2 release date + Pocket edition + new DLC
  

The studio Mighty Coconut don’t be idle. Barely having revealed that the PSVR 2 version of Walkabout Mini Golf was going to be released on May 11, another slightly more surprising port was announced, on iPhone. The mobile game will be fully playable in flat and will be cross play to all VR versions. And it’s not over, the studio reveals its new 18-hole course, based on ancient Egypt.

Entitled Temple at ZerzuraThis DLCs will give the player the opportunity to explore dunes, pyramids, and other forgotten temples. Unlike the last DLCs Upside Townthe course will be much more classic and the gravity will not put your senses to the test. This next DLC will be released on April 20.

Breachers:

The Rainbow Six of VR has just landed on Pico 4 and Meta Quest 2. The game looks very good in its category and it is the only one to offer such an advanced experience in virtual reality. Fans of the genre will appreciate, others may well be tempted.

First Person Tennis:

First person tennis is a must if you want to experience pure and hard simulation. In this title, you won’t have a steering wheel or rackets that change shape (Sports Scramble) or power up devastating (Mario Tennis) but you can however choose for an arcade mode if you find the simulation too difficult for your taste.

Battlegroup VR:

You are on board a ship and must lead your troops directly via your dashboard. So far, nothing really original, but the use of virtual reality is here appropriate because you can look through the cockpit or even around the result of your strategic choices, this is clearly genius! We welcome the initiative.

Eternal Our Lady:

Eternal our lady is not a game strictly speaking but well an experiment which allows you to discover, from your living room, one of the most beautiful monuments of our heritage.

Realm Dream:

We continue in the experience with Real Dream, a totally free 10-minute interactive short film that will take you away from it all. Despite its fairly low definition, players would be wrong (in view of its price) to deprive themselves of it.

D.Slade Mysteries: A case files:

Lovers ofEscape Room will surely find themselves in this remake from a classic video game series, Police Quest. The title is composed of two episodes, puzzles as well as gameplay are varied, the graphics and animations are simplistic because it is above all a small studio, but the price of 9.9 € will allow you to overcome this defect.

The Twilight Zone:

The Fourth Dimension returns as a VR video game. We have already shown you the gameplay in live in his version Meta Quest 2, the adventure will keep you spellbound if you are not Anglophobic.
