The Europe 1 family is growing!


With 2.244 million listeners, Europe 1 attracts 234,000 new people in one year, the best progression of general stations. A more loyal audience is there with a listening time which increases by 11 minutes and a weight in listening to the radio media which is also increasing (3.4% PdA at +0.5pt in one year) .

Information at the heart of Europe 1…

The information with Dimitri Pavlenko, Pascal Praud, Céline Géraud and Laurence Ferrari once again boosts the audiences of Europe 1:

  • Europe 1 Morning (7 a.m.-9 a.m.) supported by Dimitri Pavlenko, listened to by 1,168,000 people, progressed on all indicators: +71,000 listeners in one year in cumulative audience (AC) and +0.3pt in PdA. A morning show which retains its main events, including: The Big Interview by Sonia Mabrouk, the editorials of Vincent Hervouët, Alexis Brézet and Vincent Trémolet de Villers but also Signatures by Gaspard Proust, Philippe Val and Catherine Nay without forgetting the essentials Cultivation requirements with Nicolas Carreau in the lead. A morning which has welcomed, since the start of the school year, new meetings: Press review played by Olivier de Lagarde and Zapping Europe 1 signed Dimitri Vernet, Jérôme Béglé and Charlotte d’Ornellas;
  • With 608,000 listeners, Pascal Praud is welcoming more and more listeners and is continuing its back-to-school momentum with the best growth in the market over one year in audience share (+1.4 pt). In one year, 157,000 new listeners join the show every day between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. (2nd best growth on the market);
  • Céline Géraud at the helm ofEurope 1 1 p.m. and Laurence Ferrari with Punchline! follow this trend with a PdA increasing by +0.6pt and +0.4pt respectively in one year.

These results confirm the public’s support for the station’s information meetings and the installation of the morning show run by Dimitri Pavlenko for 3 seasons.

…But also entertainment

Entertainment also remains at the heart of Europe 1 programs as evidenced by the success of 2 new presenters (Thomas Isle and Sophie Davant)

  • Culture Media with Thomas Isle (+107,000 listeners in one year), achieved the best growth in audience share on the market over one year between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.;
  • Sophie Davant, who has embodied the program since the start of the season Sophie & the Friends, attracts new curious people and strengthens its position on the market (+0.7pt of PdA in one wave; the best growth of the media between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.);
  • Christophe Hondelatte, with Hondelatte Tells, strengthens its audience with the arrival of 63,000 new people and sees its PdA jump by +1.1 PdA points in one wave;
  • Stéphane Bern, who brings a dose of History to listeners every day, is also up year-on-year in PdA (+0.3pt).

Finally, Elisabeth Assayag who every day puts the spotlight on companies in France is movingat 8 p.m. since the start of the school year, has established itself on the market with the best progression in PdA (+1.7pt in one wave) and seduces its audience with an increasing listening time (+15 minutes).

Strong digital growth

Europe 1 is also recording strong growth in its digital listening: with more than 100 million views over the period November-December 2023, Europe 1 is doubling its visibility on its social channels (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat ) and remains the leading general station on YouTube.

The station, which joined the ACPM ranking at the start of the season, also accumulated more than 11.2 million streaming listening sessions in the month of November, becoming the 5th station in the market.
