After two weeks of intensive searches around Cagnac les Mines, investigators found no trace of the missing nurse. The search areas have been combed through: trees removed, gridded area, military means. This area, located 1.5 km from the couple’s home, around a farm in Cagnac-les-Mines, over an area of around 10 ha, occupied the equivalent of two stadiums in France. explains TF1. The excavations ended on Friday February 4, 2022, without communication of clues to advance the investigation.

These areas were searched again after interrogations of former co-detainees of Cédric Jubillar. They claimed that Cédric Jubillar had told them about these places as potential places where he would have buried his wife. Then, they continued according to data from Cédric’s phone, transmitted by Google to French justice. For his part, the main suspect, presumed innocent and still imprisoned, pleads for his innocence.
