The future of Palworld lies in PvP, raids and crossplay


Freshly landed, Palworld has already conquered the world with more than 5 million copies sold. However, Pocketpair does not intend to stop there, and announces with its first roadmap the imminent arrival of PvP, arenas, raids and crossplay. A whole program therefore, which is inevitably accompanied by numerous fixes.

In addition to having sold a good number of copies,
Palworld also reached records in terms of players on Steam. These very promising beginnings will not stop there, however, as the game is still only in Early Access. For Pocketpair, this is an opportunity to move forward more calmly, but above all to inject a little more money into its project. And to keep players interested, nothing better than updates that expand the content.

For this, the next updates will be focused on the addition of PvP. On the one hand this will allow players to compete directly, while the arena will be dedicated to Pals. These are therefore two styles of confrontations which will be possible, allowing all players to find what they are looking for. At the same time, raids will appear, giving adventurers the opportunity to compete against Dantesque bosses.

Fixes and crossplay

Available on Steam, Xbox and Game Pass, the game does not yet allow you to play with friends on another platform. Or to meet players from another ecosystem. This is one of the points that Pocketpair wishes to improve, by offering this possibility to players. Thanks to this, it will be easier to find other players with whom to share an adventure and build a city in which to exploit your Pals. But if this is a rather welcome attention, other details must be sorted out upstream.

Despite a great launch, Palworld suffers from some problems. Early Access obliges, everything is not yet perfect in the technique, and the developers want to remedy this as quickly as possible. In fact, among the priority improvements are the configuration of the keys as well as the AI ​​of the Pals. However, other more critical issues are also noted and should benefit from a fix. The studio therefore still has a lot to do, but seems on the right track to exploit its success and maintain it.
