the game at the God of War finally formalized, it’s going to be huge

Partially made official a while ago, a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is coming soon and it should hit extremely hard.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are on the rise. While the animated film is now available in dark rooms, THQ Nordic took advantage of its summer event to finally lift the veil on its adaptation.
Most of the time when we think of Ninja Turtles we immediately see cartoons or colorful comics. All-pixel video games, usually beat’em all like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge lately, are also often colorful. But there is also another facet of the Ninja Turtles, a much darker narrative arc that relates nothing more or less than the end of the quartet, TMNT: The Last Ronin.

TMNT: The Last Ronin, a God of War like with Ninja Turtles

Radical change of atmosphere with this brand new game developed by Black Forest Games. A title that will also be inspired by a certain God of War (2018) according to the developers. We should therefore expect a game with a rather large narrative and brutal and visceral combat. If in passing the artistic direction, the technique, the staging and the OST could also be of the same ilk as the model signed Santa Monica, it would be perfect and we would have a real little treasure there.

But it’s far too early to draw any conclusions, especially since the game hasn’t even shown itself yet. The studio has, however, offered us a brief trailer that sets the tone. Dark, sad and powerful at the same time. We see four candles go out one after the other, until there is only one left. This short trailer gives us a little reminder in passing by honoring Kevin Eastman, Luis Antonio Delgado, Peter Laird, the Escorza brothers and Ben Bishop, the creators of the Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin comics from which the game is inspired. The game does not yet have a release date but confirms that it will land on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
