The Gilded Age Season 2: Launch

In addition, season 2 will receive prominent growth in the future. “Dr. House” star Robert Sean Leonard (“Dead Poets Society”) will star in the sequel as Reverend Matthew Forte. The jovial, personable newcomer from Boston is the new head of the church, which is attended by all of New York’s high society. Certainly he will hear something in the confessional conversations.

  • Ben Lamb (“The White Queen”) as the Duke of Buckingham, who Bertha thinks would be the perfect match for Gladys
  • Dakin Matthews (“Desperate Housewives”) as Mr. Winterton, a wealthy widower who will learn a lot about his new, much younger bride
  • Rebecca Haden (“Madam Secretary”) as Queen of High Society Flora McNeil
