The Honor Pad X9 is coming to the tablet market for less than €250

Rather discreet on the tablet market in Europe, since it only marketed the Pad 8 there until then, Honor is timidly developing its catalog of slates. The brand, which relies much more on its smartphones, such as the recent 90 or Magic Vs with folding screen, offers a second entry-level model called Pad X9.

The characteristics of the tablet, under Android 13, are after all agreed. There is an 11.5-inch LCD screen, displaying 2000 x 1200 pixels and offering a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, but also a Snapdragon 685 chip flanked by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, or even 5 MP photo sensors on the front and back.

The Pad X9 is above all a multimedia-oriented model, as evidenced by its four speakers and its 7250 mAh battery supposed to allow “up to 13 hours of video streaming and 12 hours of music playback”. Despite its light and essentially entertainment-oriented ambitions, the Pad X9 has the merit of revealing a neat design, of which we retain the metal design and the finesse (6.9 mm). Its price is competitive with the rare models on the market, since it is announced at 249 €, in the vein of Xiaomi’s Redmi Pad or Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A8.
