The King of Fighters XV attended the Japanese Fighting Game Developers Roundtable to announce free content coming next month.

He had been datamined but we didn’t know exactly how he would join the game, it’s now official Omega Rugal will be a free DLC that will join the cast of KOF 15 the April 14. And inevitably, to pay homage to this boss, SNK adds it with a new mode which is a Boss Challenge which allows you to face him in a difficult fight but which allows you to unlock his terrain, his music and his alternative costume.
