The life of Emmanuel Macron soon in the cinema? This famous director who followed the President on his travels: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

While his actions have been scrutinized by a horde of journalists since his first election in 2017, the French are not at the end of their surprises. In an article published on Sunday November 26, 2023, journalists from La Tribune Sunday revealed some surprising news. The President of the Republic came under the eye of the camera of a very fashionable French director. Cedric Jimenezat the origin of the films North Bac And November, followed Emmanuel Macron in several of these trips. Gilles Lellouche, Pierre Niney or François Civil, these three actors therefore have something in common with our Head of State. According to our colleagues, Cédric Jimenez would have followed him, camera in hand, on numerous official trips on our territory and abroad, notably during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar or a visit to the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier.

Emmanuel Macron’s second term under the cameras

If the director has not confirmed that he is behind the initiative of a documentary on Emmanuel Macron, La Tribune Sunday explained that a film crew had well captured the politician’s daily media life. But the initial project was not this. Very engaged in social issues, Cédric Jimenez would have initially wanted to follow the presidential candidate in his campaign, to conquer the Élysée. Unfortunately, the geopolitical context would have decided otherwise. Indeed, at the time of Emmanuel Macron’s re-election in 2022, the war in Ukraine disrupted the political agenda, preventing the French director from his projects. It is therefore not a documentary on the presidential campaign but on the president’s second five-year term which could see the light of day. An announcement which should not displease the main stakeholders, namely the Macron couple, used to being followed by the media and giving some interviews concerning their private lives. Recently, it was the First Lady who indulged in some confidences in the newspaper Paris Match. In an interview revealed on Thursday November 16, 2023, Brigitte Macron spoke about the beginnings of her relationship and their daily life at the Élysée. For example, she revealed that she goes for walks every week with her husband. “We make our agenda together, enter into negotiations. We decide whether or not I accompany him on his trips”, she then explained. Moments that could well feature in Cédric Jimenez’s potential future documentary.
