The French brand Voltaire formalizes its new electric bike.

After Courcelles, it is therefore Bellecour’s turn to leave Voltaire.

A Bellecour electric bike, by Voltaire

The very young French brand Voltaire announces today the launch of a new electric bike (the second of the firm): Bellecour. This model succeeds Courcelles and is intended to be more affordable (200 euros cheaper), because less technological “, and notably devoid of a GPS tracker or anti-theft device.

Indeed, the Bellecour electric-assisted bike follows the main lines of its big brother, with however the withdrawal of connectivity options. We therefore find an “old-fashioned” design, but with everything you need in terms of safety and modern comfort: Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, Schwalbe Road Cruiser Plus tires, 250 W electric motor, 360 Wh integrated in the seat tube, 1.3 inch OLED display, LED lighting…

The designers promise a range of between 40 and 70 km, depending of course on the engine load. To those who wish to obtain it, Voltaire offers the purchase of an optional battery, against the sum of 270 euros. As for the Bellecour bike itself, you will have to pay 2,190 euros to become its owner, with the possibility of choosing between 3 different colors.
