However, the cult series which followed the adventures of the Ingalls family in a romanticized 19th century Minnesota, rocked more than one childhood. Created by Michael Landon (Charles Ingalls), the fiction inspired by the eponymous book by Laura Ingalls, had 205 episodes and was broadcast between 1974 and 1983 on NBC, before experiencing international fame from 1976. According to our colleagues, the investigation is still ongoing and could allow other potential victims to express themselves. The goal is to gather more evidence and testimonies. Radames Pera appeared from 1975 to 1980 in the American series, before leaving the small screen to devote himself to other projects, such as his audio video company located in Los Angeles. The former actor had Johnny Depp, Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Nicolas Cage and Ben Stiller as clients.

Michael Landon “crazy, evil and dangerous”

For several years, the unveilings follow one another and update stories that contrast with the impression of a large family given by the cast. Recently mentioned by two of his former colleagues, the star of the series, Michael Landon, was quite a far cry from his warm-hearted farmer persona. According Karen Grasslethe unforgettable Caroline Ingalls, the actor who died in 1991 abused the drink, and allowed himself to make sexist jokes filthy and humiliating remarks on the physique of the one who embodied his wife on the screen. An unflattering portrait that the 71-year-old actress painted in her book Bright lights, prairie dust published on November 16, 2021. Another testimony, that of Alison Arngrim, who lent her features to the plague Nellie Olseon. The actress had confirmed the words of Karen Grassel in the Daily Mail on November 8, 2021: “People still have the image of him as a wholesome and nice farmer, but when you knew him, he was mostly crazy, evil and dangerous. He drank, smoked and told terrible jokes“, she recalled, calling the atmosphere on the set “old boys club“.
