The Masked Singer: Does Stefan Raab return to the show stage as a sloth?

After the sloth in the first episode of the new season of "The Masked Singer" was noticed by sleepiness, in the second round it performed completely differently. With the song "Kiss" by Prince, it thrilled TV viewers and the advice team alike. But which celebrity is under the furry-lovable costume? Is it possibly a star who almost completely withdrew from the public a few years ago?

While the guessing team hadn't yet tossed this name into the ring in the first episode of the new season, it was already being hotly received by the audience at home: Stefan Raab (53). An indication from last week – that the sloth likes to be "at home" – could indicate a retired celebrity. In addition, "Fauli", as the plushy friend of moderator Matthias Opdenhövel (49) likes to be called, has a distinctive male voice, which he can apparently adapt to all voices. Raab has proven over several years that he can take almost any pitch with his voice.

In the second episode, ProSieben scattered further evidence that could speak for Raab as a sloth. A Messi jersey with the number ten could be seen in the player. Raab is known to be a football fan. In addition, a washing machine flickered through the picture. Raab once did a fun song on his previous TV Total show called "Washing Machine". One instrument that is particularly associated with Raab is the ukulele. When asked by the advice team what it was about, "Fauli" replied: "My ukulele has already served me well". Did Raab unmask himself?

Football jersey, washing machine, ukulele: Raab or Mockridge?

While Ruth Moschner (43) tapped Raab based on the evidence and also the sloth's live performance on the second show, his old intern didn't really want to believe it. Guest council member Elton (48) suspects another comedian under the costume: Luke Mockridge (30). According to Elton, Mockridge also has an affinity for football, as he once did a trial training session at Bayer Leverkusen, the washing machine would also fit nicely due to his longstanding moderation of the "NightWash" format and he can also handle a ukulele.

Raab was once again a favorite with the audience. In any case, it seems certain that the person hiding under the sloth's costume has a lot of humor. In 2015, Raab's decision not to return to television actually seemed final. Reviving in such a rate show as "The Masked Singer" under these circumstances would suit Raab. Should he actually be the sloth and thus return to the big stage, it would be the TV comeback of the year.
