Jenke von Wilmsdorff strengthens the advice team in the opening show

Jenke von Wilmsdorff is the first guest on the advice team for the ninth season of “The Masked Singer”.
TV journalist Jenke von Wilmsdorff (58) takes a seat at the council table next to Ruth Moschner (47) and Alvero Soler (32) at the start of the new season of “The Masked Singer”. ProSieben announced this in a press release on Wednesday. The opening episode runs next Saturday (September 18th) from 8:15 p.m.
Then it’s back to the prominent guessing team to recognize the stars behind the masks. Jenke von Wilmsdorff is there for the first time and tries to find out as a guest which celebrity is singing and dancing on stage in costume. This year, Ruth Moschner (47) and Alvaro Soler (32) are part of the advice team; in each show they should be supported by another person.
Second episode airs on a Sunday – because of “Wetten, dass…?”
The ninth season of “The Masked Singer” airs every Saturday from 8:15 p.m ProSieben and Joyn. An exception is the second episode, which will be shown on Sunday, November 26th. Moderator Matthias Opdenhövel (53) explains the reason for this: “For our stars under the masks, saying goodbye to Thomas Gottschalk is a big moment that they don’t want to spend against him, but with him. Of course, ProSieben couldn’t resist this wish,” the station quotes him. “That’s why ‘The Masked Singer’ is exceptionally stealing the show from Joko Winterscheidt and celebrating the second live edition not on Saturday, but on Sunday.” From the third live show (December 2nd) it will go back to the usual broadcast slot.
