While the presentation of the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro is expected for next week during the CES in Las Vegas – even if the manufacturer has canceled its visit – we now learn more about the fast charging system of the highest smartphone of range of both.

The Indian site MySmartPrice has indeed discovered the OnePlus 10 Pro certification documents with the CCC, the Chinese product certification commission. This certification concerns a 5G OnePlus smartphone which will be supplied with a power adapter to deliver up to 11 volts of voltage and 7.3 amps of intensity, i.e. a power of 80.3 W.

However, it is precisely this power that will make it possible to measure the speed at which a battery will be able to charge, particularly at the start of the recharging cycle – manufacturers generally limit the power at the end of charging to avoid any accident.

A record for OnePlus, well ahead of Xiaomi

Thus, the OnePlus 10 Pro should enjoy fast charging of up to 80 watts of power. It would be a new record for the Chinese manufacturer. As a reminder, the OnePlus 9 Pro, launched last year, was equipped with a 65 W charger. However, OnePlus is far from offering the highest charging powers in the industry. Xiaomi, for example, offers up to 120 W on its latest addition, the Xiaomi 12 Pro. What allow, according to the manufacturer, a full charge of the battery of 4600 mAh in 18 minutes.

According to the latest rumors, the OnePlus 10 Pro would however benefit from a more substantial battery of 5000 mAh. For the rest of the characteristics, the smartphone would be equipped with a 6.7-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 128 or 256 GB of storage in UFS 3.1, 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and three cameras: a 48-megapixel wide-angle module, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, and an 8-megapixel telephoto module.

We will know more about the OnePlus 10 Pro and its little brother, the OnePlus 10, during their official presentation. This will take place on January 5, in less than a week.
